Coming at’cha every Sunday at noon Eastern Standard Time EST – here’s more creative content craziness from Jennifer Weigel…

The foul truth
of the borrowed body
is one of estranged solitude
as aging ghosts
confuse myths
with passive confessions
of forbidden theater,
seeking restless forgiveness
in the impatient garden
of their lazy paradise.
“A sentimentalist is simply one who wants to have the luxury of an emotion without paying for it. We think we can have our emotions for nothing. We cannot. Even the finest and most self-sacrificing emotions have to be paid for.” – Oscar Wilde, De Profundis
Poem was written during a poetry workshop with Traci Brimhall at Red Barn Studio in Lindsborg, Sept. 27, 2025.
