I’m idling at the intersection
of here and now, stuck in the sticks.
Passing lanes are just so passé,
past prohibitions permit
posing players to poke passengers
pressed to perpetually pause.
No one’s going to let you in.
I’ll cut you off off at the pass…
I may not know if I’m coming or going
but at least I can still enjoy the ride.
