October daily special, in case you couldn’t get enough of all the creative content craziness from Jennifer Weigel we’re posting one a day for the whole of the month!

Loneliness is looking up and seeing the Earthrise. There are nearly 240,000 miles that separate me from home. I came here for a better life, for a future. In fairness, I found that. I got lucky; so many space brides don’t. My husband is good to me. We are expecting our first child soon. But I just can’t get used to the isolation. We don’t have neighbors – this base is too small. Every little thing can be a matter of life or death. We can’t afford to make mistakes. It is harsh here, and I can’t help but miss Earth.
